This quick peach cobbler recipe is one of our most popular desserts and is the fantastic ending to every summer meal.
Ingredients
- 8 large peaches, peeled, halved and sliced
- 3 cup sugar, divided
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (UK)*
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cup flour
- 4 tsp baking powder (UK)*
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup milk

Preparation Method
- In large bowl, put peaches, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, together with 1 1/2 cups of the sugar. Put aside.
- Melt butter into a 13×9 oval shaped ceramic baking dish (use the microwave or prepare it in the water bath) or pan (put pan to the oven).
- In an additional sizeable bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon with 1 1/2 cups of sugar until combined. Stir in milk and vanilla till simply combined – do not over mix.
- Pour batter gently over butter evenly. Top batter smoothly with peach slices. Drizzle all leftover sugar mixture over peaches.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 45-50 mins till top is done.
- Taste best served with vanilla or butter pecan ice cream when still warm!
