This sugar-free chocolate recipe is easy, tasty and almost hassle free. Contains no sugar so it’s also kids friendly. And it will only take you 10 minutes to make. So… let’s do it :)
I’m always trying to make as easy recipe as I can. In our supper busy world when bought in shops chocolates got so much sugar, I’m trying to make my life healthier but in the same time don’t want to spend ages to make that happen.
So this recipe is easy and tasty and more over it’s a sugar-free chocolate. I used to make a ‘proper’ chocolate made out of cocoa nibs witch is much more time-consuming, I will probably share this recipe with you in the future. But I found this simple recipe as tasty as the cocoa nibs one so at least for now I will stick with this one.
There are few thing which you may find useful.
Tools you need: It is much easier to use blenders like Magic Bullet or NutriBullet then normal food processor. There is less mess in the container which also means less chocolate will remain on the sides of the container. If you have food processor don’t be discourage but keep in mind that you may want to prepare two portions at once as the single portion for sugar-free chocolate may not be enough and it will not blend properly.
Useful thing: It’s useful to have some spatula. You can much easier scrub the chocolate from the inside of the container. But if you don’t have any you can use butter knife, it works fine too.
Sweetener: Moreover feel free to change xylitol into any other sugar substitute you want. I like xyitol as for me it have the less amount of aftertaste. The downside of using xylitol is fact that you can’t buy it in powder form. To do that I’m using coffee grinder (this take some time as it is small) or simply grind sugar in your food processor / Magic Bullet / NutriBullet before making chocolate. It will save you time with cleaning and save some sugar residues.

How to make homemade sugar-free chocolate
All the ingredients: powder sugar (in my situation it is xylitol), cocoa powder, cocoa butter and if you are making milk chocolate also coconut milk powder add to the blender and mix until smooth consistency. It will take around 3-5min. Scrub the container with spatula while blending. It will help to mix it well and the chocolate will have less lumps.
The next step is as easy as the previous one. Just pour the mixture into the chocolate mould.
Wait for the chocolate to cool and harden before taking it out. If you want to speed it up, you can put the mould into the freezer.
