This low-carb chaffles and sugar-free waffles are the best I’ve tried so far and I’ve tried quite a few sow far. There are two version sweet and savory. The good thing is that the basis recipe is the same and most important is extremely easy and quick.
This type of waffles are also a perfect solution for all parents who would like to serve kids a sugar-free option as breakfast or supper. As it is very simple recipe you can make it with your kids and also it may be much more fun for kids to eat chaffles staffed with simple sandwich ingredients like lettuce, ham and tomato. Or simple spread some sugar free jam or Homemade Chocolate Hazelnut Spread.

How to make sugar-free waffles:
Throw all chaffles ingredients into a fairly tall container. I like to use the container from the hand blender as it is tall enough and I still use the blender to mix all the ingredients. An additional advantage is that it is easier to pour the mass on the waffle maker from the container.
Like I’ve mention there are two versions of low-carb chaffles recipe:
Sweet – add sweetener into it. For me 2 tablespoon or xylitol is enough. Keep in mind that different sweetener will gives you different sweetens and you may like less or more sweet so add as much as you want.
Savory – chop some jalapeno and add to the mixture with a salt and pepper to your taste.
Mix or blend everything till smooth consistency.
Because of the psyllium husk it’s a good practise to wait around 5 minutes until everything connects. If you are using 2 portions it’s better to wait even longer around 10-20 minutes. This way butter will be less runny and better latter.
Using a waffle iron or waffle maker fry until the sides are golden.
Tip: try not to use open the iron too early as the sides are more prompt to split.

How to serve Low-carb Chaffles
Sweet version I like with sweet whipped cream the most.
As for the savory chaffles you can eat the in many ways. I eat the more like sandwiches with lettuce, ham and vegetables or pickles.
